We are all affected by the people we meet, the choices we make, and the ones we don't.
Particularly the ones we don't.

I am fascinated by life, on our journey to death. How we are shaped by our lived experiences, how we adapt and change. I am particularly drawn to femininity and trauma; primarily using paint, solvents, copper and iron to express elements of softness and resilience.
The process of addition and subtraction is key within my work, creating complex, abstract depictions of emotion. For me, this mirrors our journey through life.
Strong influences by conversation with others, as well as written word, there are recurrent themes of philosophical thinking and women's history weaving their way through my work. I continue to explore these interests through the act of artistic research, while not being limited by one medium in doing so.
